The Friday Safety Message program has returned, and the Department of Transportation is again asking you to submit your ideas for creative traffic advice to display on electric signs along Nebraska’s highways.
Spokeswoman Jeni Campana with department says, when submitting ideas, the more creative, and the better.
“One of my personal favorites was from last year,” says Campana, “‘Camp in our State Parks, not in the left lane’; we got a lot of good response off of that.”
Other examples include; “Fireworks should be the only thing getting lit “and “you know its love when it clicks, buckle up”
Selected messages will be displayed on electronic message boards along I-80 and I-29 every Friday for 24 hours.
You can find a full list of rules and submit suggestions on the department’s website HERE
