An Oregon couple was arrested, half a million dollars in drug seized during a traffic stop in Omaha over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The Nebraska State Patrol reports a trooper stopped an eastbound van driving with a registration violation on Interstate 80 in Omaha.

An Omaha Police Department drug dog was brought to the scene and a search of the van discovered 170 pounds of marijuana, two-and-a-half pounds of THC shatter, and more than 3,000 THC vape pens. NSP estimates the street value of the seizure at $500,000.

Fifty-year-old Timothy Pardon, the driver, and 35-year-old Crystal Pardon of Trail, Oregon have been charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell it and other drug charges. Both were jailed in Douglas County. Two children in the van have been placed in protective custody.
