A big pizza chain is making good on a promise. Domino’s Pizza is running a “Paving for Pizza” grant program and filling potholes nationwide so they don’t ruin your carryout. Due to an overwhelming number of nominations, Bellevue was selected as a recipient of the Nebraska grant. Greg Cutchall is the president of Cutchall Management Company and is the franchise owner for Domino’s in the metro area and is very pleased with the selection.
Cutchall says, “We were so excited when we heard that Domino’s came out with this promotion because it hits home in the Omaha – Bellevue area. Due to our weather and so forth we have our share of potholes. We thought it was a clever way for Domino’s to do some community service and promote our brand at the same time.”
Domino’s selects locations by asking customers to nominate their town for a grant to repair potholes. Since last June, Domino’s received more than 137-thousand nominations from more than 15-thousand zip codes in all 50 states.
Domino’s provides the selected community a $5,000 grant. The city or community decides where and when the work will be done.
