A central-Nebraska traffic stop ends in the arrest of a man from the state of Washington and the confiscation of drugs and swords.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports 43-year-old Kasey Miles of Yakima, Washington faces a number of drug charges after the early Saturday afternoon stop on Interstate 80.
According to NSP, a trooper pulled Miles over, because his sport utility vehicle had a defective taillight. During the traffic stop on I-80 near Wood River, a drug dog detected the odor of drugs in the vehicle.
NSP reports troopers searched the vehicle and found more than six pounds of marijuana, one gram of mushrooms, 78 grams of shatter, two grams of methamphetamine, and 43 grams of marijuana seeds. They also found five swords.
Miles has been jailed in Hall County.
