Lincoln police have arrested a 32-year-old woman who is accused of dealing drugs out of a house in which she cared for children.
Police arrested Stephany Degarmo Wednesday night. A search of her home found more than 17 grams methamphetamine, nearly two grams of heroin, alprazolam, and hydrocodone pills. Investigators also found digital scales, an unknown white powder, and a bit of marijuana.
A one-year-old and a five-year-old, Dagarmo’s children, have been placed in the care of a family member.
State records to do not have Degarmo listed as having a license from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services to run a daycare.
